The Social Network of Graduates Halloween Spectacular

Get excited graduates because Halloween falls on a Friday this year!

This is a sign from the pagan gods that they want us to celebrate All Hallows Eve by purchasing cheap costumes, taking selfies and dancing the night away to Thriller and Monster Mash.

For this spectacular party we return to The Lounge (Level 3, Uni Pub). Free entry for members and $5 for non-members.

Of course there will be PRIZES for the best dressed and LOADS of drink specials.

See you there!

2014 Burlesque Ball

The 2014 Social Network of Graduates executive invite you to the 2014 Burlesque Ball.

For one night only, let us transport you to a world of glitz and glamour, fishnets and frocks, where the heels are high and the champagne is flowing.

$130 members
$150 non-members

Register for individual tickets or book a table of 10 at: or email

Your ticket price includes all the fabulous following:
– Tempting three course dinner plus canapés and drinks
– Bangin’ burlesque performance from the Sass n’ Tease Collective (check your judgement at the door, there will be some skin folks!)
– Music from the TraXion Big Band
– Fun-time photobooth
– Awesome afterparty @ UniPub (buses will be provided from the Abbey to the city and taxis will also be available)

As this is a ball, the dress code is strictly formal attire – think wedding, school formal, debutante ball or the Brownlow..

We’re also hosting a raffle on the night for some fabulous prizes! All proceeds will go to HOME IN QUEANBEYAN, a community organisation that provides a home to people with severe mental illness who are unable to live alone and at risk of homelessness.

Prizes include:
– Cocktail night for 10 people at Polit Bar ($200 value)
– 2 PT sessions at Fitness First Canberra Centre with Body by Tim ($160 value).
